Spacer
Additional Product Information
The 20 mm spacing remains difficult to use but any less space is impossible. More commonly, ring blocks are constructed to a patient/fracture specific distance using all thread rods and hex nuts.
This spacer finds more common use as a wire tensioner extension. For example, when the surgeon is tensioning a wire and other pieces of hardware are competing for wrench space, either on locking bolt of wire tensioner or the corresponding wire fixation bolt, the spacer is applied over the wire to create additional space. Although not designed for this purpose, this recommendation was provided by surgeons using the IMEX wire tensioner and many customers have found it useful.
